This class focuses on the responsibilities of the supervisor on an asbestos project and complies or exceeds the EPA, Federal OSHA, WISHA, and DEQ training requirements. Each trainee is required to pass a written test with a grade of 80% or above before his/her application is submitted to the applicable state for certification. Topics covered:

• Identification
• Aerodynamic characteristics
• Summary of abatement control
• Calibration of air monitoring equipment
• Fit test protocols (QNFT & QLFT)
• Project setup and design
• Managing the job - workers, employer, client & regulator
