Students learn safe and effective methods on how to enter a permit-required confined space. Course includes:

• Recognition of permit-required confined spaces
• Read and complete an "entry permit"
• Responsibilities of "entrant," "attendant," & "supervisor"
• Setup & entry into a confined space
• Physical and atmospheric hazards (how to recognize and control them)
• Personal protective equipment
• Rescue operations
