KINGSTON, WASHINGTON TRAINING SITE |

ACCOMMODATIONS |
The Kingston, Washington
training site is a live-in facility. Dorm room and three meals are provided free of charge
to students attending classes. If class is over one day in length, a
room will be provided. Depending on space available, rooms are also
provided to students who check-in the night before classes begin.

CHECK-IN |
Check-in time is usually
7:30 am – 7:45 am the morning of class, or 4:00 pm to midnight the night
before class begins if a student is rooming at the site. Check-in is
located at the main office building. Students will fill out class
registration paperwork and receive towels and a room key, if necessary.
There is no charge for room and
board if you are a member of a
laborers local union.
NOTE:
You MUST check in and register at the office for each
new class you are starting whether you were attending the week
before or not. For example: If you attended a 40 hour class
that ends on Friday, and stayed over the weekend to attend another
separate 40 hour class beginning the following Monday, you still must
check in on Monday at the front office for the new class starting. This also applies for multiple classes taken in a one week block.
(OSHA10 on Monday, First Aid on Tuesday, DOT Soil on Thursday, etc. you
must check in for each new class.) |

ROOMS |
Depending on availability,
you may share a room with another student. Two rooms share one bathroom.
Separate facilities are provided for women. Towels are provided.
Please bring your own shampoo, soap,
etc. |
|
MEALS |
Breakfast, lunch and dinner
are provided to students attending class.
Breakfast:
7am – 7:30 am.
Lunch: noon – 12:30 pm.
Dinner: 5:00 pm
- 5:30 pm.

RECREATION |
The training sites have a
recreation room, TV lounge, basketball court, board games, etc... for
students to use after class hours. |
|
WEEKENDS |
Students enrolled in
two-week classes who do not live within a reasonable commuting distance
from the training site may receive housing and meal vouchers (to local
restaurants) on the weekend. Students should inform their instructor when they arrive if these
arrangements need to be made. If you are enrolled in two one week
courses back to back you are welcome
to stay at the site and obtain meal
vouchers. |

TRAVEL PAY |
You will be issued
travel expenses to help with
the cost of travel. Travel
amounts are calculated from your
local union hall to our site and
back to the local union hall.
